Course Overview
This 5-day course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of gathering and distribution systems design in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on flow assurance. Participants will explore the fundamentals of fluid mechanics, multiphase flow, flow assurance issues, and design considerations for gathering and distribution systems, as well as oil and gas export pipelines. Hands-on exercises and case studies using industry-standard software such as PIPESIM™ and OLGA™ will be conducted to simulate tie-in assessments and multiphase dynamic simulations.
